Michelle,
Congratulations on the wedding! There are a few natural alternatives that may be able to help where the medications have left off. The first is an herbal formula called Hematrex that was designed specifically to help increase tonicity in the veins, especially in cases hemorrhoids. It contains a number of very high-quality herbs that have traditionally been used to increase the integrity and tone of the veins. Following is a link with all of the ingredients and a brief description of each:

In addition to the Hematrex, I would also suggest an ozonated olive oil called O2-Zap. This gel can be applied directly to the hemorrhoid and may soothe the irritation and will provide a consistent release of oxygen to help speed tissue healing. It is best to keep the O2-Zap in the refrigerator so that it can be applied cold; this will also help to constrict the veins and should provide quick relief for irritation. Please also remember to drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of distilled or purified water every day, more if you are very active or regularly consume a large amount of caffeinated drinks. Dehydration can cause your stools to be more compact and may cause straining. Also, you may try bringing a low, stable foot stool into the bathroom. If you put your feet up on this stool, it can more closely approximate a squatting position, which may also help to reduce straining. Once the hemorrhoids are under control and not prone to irritation, I would suggest a colon cleanse with Oxy-Powder in order to clean out any compaction left in the intestines. I would start at a low dosage as the toxins that are released from the bowel can be acidic and may aggravate hemorrhoids that are already irritated.
